Custodial Duty

Many situations require property to be maintained by an impartial and disinterested third party. This is particularly the case with source code for software owned by small firms, which is essential to the operations of licensees. If the software owner goes out of business or goes bankrupt, having a copy of the source code retained by a custodian such as Eterna allows the licensee to use the software and continue to operate its business.
